Cannot login:

If you purchased access and used the shopping cart to checkout

  1.  Check your inbox for an email from Support@CTNurses-eLearn.org with a link to create your account’s password.

Explanation.  Initially, you’ll have immediate access to the course, but once you’re  logged out, you will not be able to re-access the purchased course(s) until your email address is validated and you set a permanent password VIA THE LINK EMAILED at time of purchase.  When you checkout the website automatically sends you two emails:  (1) a receipt and (2) a link to set your password for your new account.

IMPORTANT:  Unless you click on the link in the email and set your password, you will not be able to login or access the “forgot my password” functionality.  The system locks you and this is security feature to prevent bots from overwhelming the site with bogus accounts.

But I had access initially?!   What confuses some users, is initially you have access to the course until you logout.  The issue arises once logged out and attempting to login and/or re-access course(s).  You will be unable to do so until you have completed the automated account creation process described here, above.

Check your spam filters and junk mail folder to be sure the email was not automatically re-routed there.  Occasionally, some networks (some schools and hospitals especially) understandably have robust security features on their networks to help guard against spam and malicious emails.

You may need to ask your school/hospital tech admin to check the network settings and inquire about establishing “an exception” for emails from “support@CTNurses-eLearn.org”

Initially you have immediate access to the course and you’ll be logged in with your temporary account.  Unless you complete the account set up process (described in the sections above), once you logout of CTNurses-eLearn.org you won’t be able to login again or re-access a course.   In order to gain access to your account and the courses you’ve enrolled in, you must first complete the automated account creation process described in the sections, above.

Navigate to the Family Child Care (“FCC”) courses you completed in the Trainer of Trainers series:

  • Managing Infectious Diseases
  • Home Safety: Indoor
  • Home Safety: Outdoor
There within the “Training Material” lesson(s), you will find links to register your trainings with CT Nurses and links for your participants to use to complete their survey(s) and receive their certificate(s).
