Everyone knows something about nutrition, however, do you really understand the power of food?
Nutrition is more important to health than you may know!

This webinar will focus on how good nutritional choices can help you care for yourself. We will discuss how nutrients impact the body under stress, what foods contain the nutrients that may benefit your health, and practical tips for planning healthy meals for work and home.

Denise Reed, MS, RDN, LD is a Clinical Assistant Professor  and Director of Dietetics at Ashland University. As part of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences she teaches courses focusing on nutrition and disease for students studying dietetics, nursing, athletic training, and exercise science.

Denise remains active in many professional organizations such as the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Denise feels that providing nutrition education within the community is a great way to give back to others, so she frequently takes part in local health programs sharing her nutrition expertise such speaking to a local cancer survivors fitness program or working with a chef to teach healthy cooking classes.
