Join Cathy Alvarez and Pam Mulligan as they lead you through a new way to think about your own wellness!

Components of the 7 Dimensions of Self-Care will be discussed followed by opportunities to practice, ask questions about activities you can use to relieve stress, and promote well-being.

Presented by: 

 

 Cathy Alvarez, MA, RN, CNML, HNB-BC, PCCN, is a holistic nurse and professional development specialist.  After experiencing burnout early in her nursing career Cathy developed a passion for designing programs that educate and promote clinician well-being.  She is the co-founder of Replenish at Work and serves as a Professional Development Specialist at Yale New Haven
Hospital, educator for the American Holistic Nurses Association, and faculty advisor for the Birch Tree Center for Healthcare
Transformation.

 

Pam Mulligan, BSN, RN, NBC-HWC, RYT 500 Pam is a critical care nurse who transitioned to Holistic Nursing after experiencing symptoms of burnout. She is the Co-Founder of Replenish Mind Body Spirit with a vision to cultivate health and optimize resilience through an integrative approach to wellness. Pam applies Jean Watson’s Caring Science theory to the Integrative Health and Wellness Coach training she received at Duke University to evoke transformation and facilitate ways to restore clarity, connection and compassion for self and others.  She has successfully implemented mindfulness-based interventions for
nurses, physicians and patients at Mayo Clinic Arizona and Yale New Haven Hospital
