Hacah Goggin, RN, MSN
Hacah has been a nurse for over 20 years, as well as an educator and advocate for environmental health. She has served in many roles within nursing, from bedside care to education and public policy. While obtaining her MSN in community health, Hacah first learned of environmental nursing. It was during this time that she began to understand the personal and population health impacts, and how nurses are particularly positioned to address them. Hacah has worked with both local and national public health groups, including the CT nurse association, the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments, the Coalition for a Safe and Healthy CT, and others. Through public speaking, education, and lobbying for policies on environmental toxin exposure and climate change, she hopes to be a valuable change agent bringing healing to the world.
